Ubisoft Announces New Far Cry 4 DLC “Escape from Durgesh Prison”
Ubisoft has announced the first DLC pack for shooter Far Cry 4 – ‘Escape from Durgesh Prison’.
In it, the player – Ajay – and popular minor character Hurk wake up in Yuma’s prison without their weapons, and have to escape.
But there’s a twist – the challenges have time limits, and the entire expansion features permadeath – die even once, and you have to start the whole thing again.
“Kyrat is dangerous enough when you’re fully armed and capable of respawning. But facing the dangers of this treacherous nation… with nothing in your arsenal? That’s going to be tricky,” Ubisoft’s Anne Lewis writes on the company’s blog.
‘Escape from Durgesh Prison’ is out on January 13, and will cost US$9.99m or free if you have the Far Cry 4 season pass.
